Evening all, Jaelo here for one last blog post. At least the last one for a couple years. It's been nice knowing you, but I'm heading away for a couple years and won't have access to a computer for a while.
Okay, first off an update on my story. I'm nearly done it! I've got one little chapter left to go plus editing before I can publish it. I had a severe case of mental laziness (and mild sickness) preventing me from working on it. Before you say it, yes, I could write the last chapter instead of this blog post. I'm not going to, however, because I finished two chapters in the last 24 hours and want to write something else for a change. With luck I will have it published tomorrow some time.
Next topic: work. Last Friday was my last day at work and it's incredibly nice to be done that, although I will miss getting to put a cheque in my bank each week. No, I wasn't fired. I quit for the same reason that I won't be able to write for two years. And in the next paragraph you will find out that reason is...
I'm going away! Hooray for me! Two years in the tropics volunteering through church!! Okay, not all that exciting (even if I do get to avoid two snowy Canadian winters). What this means is no computer, no pay, pretty much no responsibilities and I get a couple of years of helping people. The Mane Six would approve, especially Best Pony.
Other than that life has been pretty quiet. Frantic last minute shopping today, but it was still less stressful than a day at work.
Hum dumm. Not really sure where to go next.
Ooh! I found the cover art I have chose for my story. Might as well share it.

I came here because I thought about watching you, based on the excellence of your story 'A Study on Alicorns'. When I read this, it was just terrible.
I know what you are doing is awesome, but... but... I will miss reading about Alicorns and their games. Hopefully things go well for you.

If it makes you feel better, I have a couple other fics posted and will continue writing when I get back. If I have time, I'll write down a few on paper while I'm away and post them when I return.
