In the End, I Wasn't Far Off About Kirby's Size · 8:11pm May 30th, 2023
For a moment, I worried that the difference in size between the Kirby in my story and the Kirby as we see in Forgotten Land screwed everything up. Kirby in Forgotten Land looked rather big, a bit under half the height of a car. For me, that was a bit under one meter (3.3ft).
But actually, I may have been overestimating the size of these cars. The ones in Forgotten Land actually seem to be in the smaller size, toward 1.5m (roughly 5ft), maybe even under, so Kirby would be between 60cm and 75cm (2 to 2.5ft). I would say closer to 60cm.
I then saw that Kirby was the size of the seat of a bench, maybe a bit taller, so a bit over 50cm (1.64ft).
And in my story, Kirby is about the same size than Sweetie Belle who is a bit over half the size of an average adult pony who are about half the size of an average adult human, so I would say roughly 50cm, maybe lower. I'm not sure. A hardcore fan probably could give Sweetie's size compared to Rarity's. But in the end, Kirby's size in my story is very close to the one in the game!
I am very relieved.
This means that the characters in my story are the good size instead of being "too big" or "too small" compared to the environment. A difference in height too large could change a lot.
Well ain't that a happy coincidence. Isn't great when things fall into place unintentionally?

I believe I've mentioned elsewhere that Adeleine has been right there for a long time. The cars of the Forgotten Land being weirdly tiny is another thing I've noted before (with the caveat that it makes sense in Wondaria specifically).

Yeah, the humans would be rather tiny in that case, unless Adeleine is a child. But this would explain why the cars are so small. But then, the benches would be smaller too. But actually, the cars seem to be similar to VW Beetle cars which were rather small, so... *shrug*
