Why do I write? Because I can't draw! I write mainly as an outlet, and don't take it too seriously. If you like what I write, awesome! If not, that's cool too.

My boys are making a run for it!

I grew up in New Orleans, Metairie to be exact. My city has been through so much since 2005, and now saint Brees looks like he's gonna deliver us another shot at a championship. Bless New Orleans, Bless Louisiana, and Bless the Saints. Who Dat!

Just for the first chapter! I severely underestimated my fellow bronies love for shipping and implied cattle slavery! I,-as you all do apparently- love an unusual pairing, especially the challenge of making it believable. The next update is on its way, but after that, my pre-reader will be out of action for a while. I wrote an extra long chapter to keep you guys/gals satiated until then.
For now, enjoy this image that inspired the name and parts of the last chapter. If you've never seen this movie, stop reading this right now and go culture yourself for the love of god.

I've...never seen it. I'm ashamed of myself. Isn't it six hours long, or something?

17645 Yeah, like a lot of older movies, it's about 3 1/2 hours long. But the acting and the actors more than make up for it in my opinion. It has a young Alec Guinness in it, and I'm pretty sure this movie launched his career. It's definitely something you have to make time for, however. As a musician, I feel you'd appreciate the score, it's one of the best I've ever heard in any movie. Arguably one of the greatest scores of all time, imho http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuxHLzwlDY4
