I have not been a very present writer, have I?

I know I've been appearing online and chipping away at my stuff, but I've not churned out many new chapters or teased anything, or really meaningfully engaged recently. That was due in large part to my career, which demanded anywhere from ten to twelve hours each day, plus proving myself as a probationary hire, plus doing mandatory training and education on top of that. All-in-all, I was extremely busy, and even when I had spare time, I didn't feel like writing. It was fun for a while, but it was never something which I could keep up indefinitely, not least of all because it clashed with other things I wanted to do with my life.

So I've quit.

Well, not exactly. I'm going to quit, but that choice is already made, and I'm quitting at a time which provides the most salary to me, because I still need to fund myself. When I've done that and ridden out my notice period, I'll be home free, able to dedicate all my time to writing and producing the content you guys love. Until then, since I've got no ambitions about continuing this career path, I don't need to worry about any of the other things I'd otherwise have to do, which gives me more time to actually spend writing (which is why we've ended up with this blog post).

I'm fully committing myself to writing now, alongside a couple of more big-picture matters. I'm aware that I've got a few commissions in a queue, and I understand if they've grown bored and moved on. If not, and you still wish to have me write your gloriously delicious smut, then shot me a PM reminding me of what I've promised to write for you, and I can fully organise everything in a great big chart.

Due to fortuitous circumstances, I can safely reserve most of my day for churning out clop for you lot, which you'll hopefully notice in the near future. I've been far too busy and far too tired to keep up with pretty much anything, and while I'm aware that's not a very good excuse, I hope it's an explanation of why your stories haven't been coming to you as quickly as you'd hoped. I know I've not been the best timekeeper, but now with some time to breathe and a better, more stress-free environment in which to work, I'm in a much better place to do what I promised. It was hard-going for a while, but I'm back.
