It's been almost three years since I joined this website, two years since I stopped writing regularly, and one year since I wrote anything at all. For those of you who I have met or at least admired my works, I decided to put this out as a way to say a few things. Thankfully, one of those things is not goodbye. Skip to the end for a TL/DR as this might be a long one.
1. You may wonder why I haven't been writing stories. As I said, it has been two years since I wrote Despair, and besides Look Who's Talking which sort of just popped into my head during a boring summer's day, I have not updated or created any stories. I kind of fell out of my writing hobby around that time to focus more on other things, such as music. I've gotten back into my hobby, but only recently, and not in this fandom, but just things I write on the side. The main reason was that I made writing seem like a chore, and I never wanted it to be, so my long hiatus was due to that.
2. I was a very active member of this community for about a year after joining before I stopped following so many people, commenting on their stories, etc. I was starting to get afraid of the politics that were going on at the time, along with a few people that I won't mention. I deleted all my blog posts because I said some things in them that are no longer true, such as information on stories and things about my personal life. While I will be coming back to an extent, I do not plan on being as active as I was before. I still met some great people on here, some of whom left and some of whom are still here, and if you want to pm me I'm always happy to talk, but I think it would be best for me to stay away from the spotlight as a leader in this community.
3. I am still a brony. Or at least, I think I am. I watched a few episodes the other day to make sure I was. I was conflicted for a long time because I still liked reading the fanfiction on this site and I am still blown away by how much talent some of these users have. There are so many great stories on here that it began to overshadow the show in my mind. Don't fear, though, I still love the show.
4. I am not proud of most of my work. Some of them are downright awful like Total Drama: Friendship is Tragic and Wrong Address, which I'm not sure I ever even finished. Can Two Mares Kiss is my favorite one personally, while We Aren't Dating (couldn't paste link) was really good until its rushed ending. Everything else sort of fell between decent and mediocre. I tried starting a big project behind the scenes, but it fizzled away as I was not prepared for it. I promise that when I come back, the stories will be of much higher quality, speaking of which...
5. I will be coming back to write. I have a few ideas, but I won't get ahead of myself since I always seemed to in the past. I don't know when they'll be coming out, but some stories are coming soon, so if you still want my content, they'll be there.
6. I changed my name back.

1. I stopped writing stories because I lost the motivation to writing.
2. I will not be nearly as active a commenter or blogger as before and will take a step back and be more private.
3. I am debatably still a brony. I love the show and the works here though.
4. Most of my work sucks, but there are some I love.
5. I WILL BE WRITING FICS AGAIN SOON!
6. I changed my name back.
