Adventures in Equestria "Hearts and Hooves" Expansion Set Released! · 4:47pm Apr 21st, 2023
I am pleased to announce the release of my unofficial expansion to the Adventures in Equestria deckbuilding game, titled "Hearts and Hooves!"
Hearts and Hooves Day is coming up, and there are two ponies who would be absolutely perfect for each other. All they need is a little push... right?
Contents include:
- Cheerilee and Big McIntosh as playable characters
- 12 new Ally cards
- 12 new Action cards
- 2 new Artifacts
- 2 new Situations
- 9 new Hurdles
- 1 new Final Challenge
This set focuses around Cheerilee and Big Mac, adding them as playable characters, and bringing some of their best scenes (IMO) into Adventures in Equestria. The set draws on a fanfic I'm (slowly) developing, which details their longtime (completely platonic) friendship--hence, you may find a couple small fanfiction-y surprises in the cards

I'm not familiar with the game, but I do always appreciate a card blog. I also appreciate how Featherweight literally surveils. Cheerilee having a diploma signed by one Lorem Ipsum is likewise an excellent touch. Some great top-down consequences as well, like the implication that that cragodile will eat the entire class if somepony doesn't do something quick!
