I know it's been a hot minute since I updated Harmonic Cognition, but many things have changed quickly for me. First, I recently returned from a year-long deployment to Iraq and had to spend some time with my family and readjust to life not in the desert. So much stress was involved in leaving Iraq and returning home, which delayed this chapter. Second I was also working on the follow-on story
I had an idea for a one-shot a couple of months back and thanks to Alchemik and Rego it finally came to fruition. This is my first crack at a ship that I haven't really seen, so I hope y'all enjoy it!
Ooof, the struggle bus was real for this chapter. Luckily, Rego was able to help me push through to complete chapter 6. Not going to lie; this chapter definitely stretched my writing abilities and forced me to look at specific sections from a different angle. Rego will probably need a vacation from editing after this section.
