Never played a Pokemon romhack (or any romhack); don't know much about Radical Red, but I'll guess it's one of those 'semi-impossible to Nuzlocke' ones.

It's notoriously difficult, but extremely fun. It's a ROM hack of Fire Red. I recommend playing it if you want to more or less be forced to learn some of the ins-and-outs of the Pokémon series. However, if you don't like the feeling that the game knows your every move... probably best if you avoid it.
