    Slight delay

Hello everyone, I just wanted to let you know there will be a slight delay in the release of the next chapter for Moving Day. I had hoped to get it out this week, but circumstances prevented that. I've been pretty busy at work, as I was recently promoted to a new position and have been in training for the past few weeks, which has eaten up a lot of my mental energy, so that's why the chapters

    No I'm not dead yet.

Hey everyone, just a quick update to let you know I'm still alive and that I'm still plugging away at the next chapter of Moving Day, just very slowly. These past two months have been busy for me, over the last two weeks, I've probably been home maybe 4 or 5 days out of 14, and I've been putting in overtime at work. So I've been both away from my computer, and too tired to write much, this next

    Real life issues

Hey everyone, I've got a bit of bad news, I was in a car accident today, nothing serious, I'm fine and the other driver is fine, just a minor fenderbender. But because of that, I'm not in a good mood right now, which means that I'm not really going to be writing for a bit, at most it'll probably be just a few days, maybe a week as I let my mind settle and then I'll get back into the swing of

    Moving Day Status Update

Hey, everybody! Tim here, I'm making this blog post to let you know that chapter ten is moving along, though slowly. A lot of stuff has been going on in real life right now, and I'm trying to get back into a rhythm that allows me to write. Long story short, I think I might have already mentioned this before but, I graduated college at the beginning of May, and immediately began searching for a

    It's over! I'm free!

Well, everyone, after five long years, I am happy to announce that I have finally graduated from college! (And debt free I might add, thanks, mom!) So right now I am looking for work, however, that still leaves me with a lot of free time, free time that I intend to use to create the next chapter for Moving Day. In fact, I have already gotten back to work on several days ago, I'm still worn out

Newest Episode (Spoiler Warning) · 11:45pm Dec 15th, 2012

Well, unlike a lot of people, I actually watched the leaked version of episode 7 on Thursday and I quite enjoyed it.

Though I was a little surprised that Spitfire's voice was so...rough sounding when compared to her season 1 voice. But hey, that's they way the cookie crumbles I guess. Anyways, I thought that it was a pretty good episode, Dash is finally beginning to realize her dreams of joining the Wonderbolts, we get to see a new antagonist, who also happens to get their just desserts at the end and we got to see Snowflake/Roid Rage/Horse Power, which ever you want to call him. That was a nice little treat I think.

Anyways, tell me what you guys thought of the new episode, (if you've watched it yet.)

Just watched it a bit ago. I feel guilty for not supporting the hub. I liked this episode a lot. I felt like it was more fleshed out than many of the other episodes. The plot also turned out to be less predictable than I thought it would be. I also like that RD was actually in the back seat of somepony confident like her. They played her loyalty to the mane 6 well at the end. I like how they militarized the Wonderbolts. That is a good boost for all those military fics out there.:raritywink: Peace in Equestria may not be as stable as one may think if they are training troops. Spitfire definitely came of as a soldier of sorts.

It had the feel of Top Gun and with the introduction of Lighting Dust was a nice touch since she acted like a watered down version of Gilda.

616108 It also reminded me of Full Metal Jacket

I had one problem with the episode though, and that's when RD saved the rest of the Mane 6.
>only pegasi can walk on clouds
>earth ponies and unicorns walk on clouds

There's only one possible explanation.

617348 Actually I think that was a variation of the Rainblow Dry, she used a similar one at the beginning of the episode to create a cloud slide.

617348 That picture right there is awesome. Nough said.

616108 Yeah that's pretty much what I felt too, it was also kind of nice to see RD less...prideful and more cautious than she normally is.

616060 You got that right, thanks to this episode, I've got a better idea on how I want to handle RD's scene for the story now.

618249 I think the producers wanted to make RD more mature since last season with Mysterious Mare Do Well.

618259 Yay for character development! :yay:

618263 Yeah, it showed last week too.

618287 Well in Sleepless in Ponyville RD showed a caring side to Scootaloo after she confessed that she used to be afraid of similar nightmares when she was Scootaloo's age.

618309 Oh yeah, now I remember.

617348 I think Twilight might have cast that before leaving Ponyville as an extra safety measure. It seems like an ocd thing she would do. THAT PICTURE it is too impossibly CUTE.
