Royal Pains AU Announcement | January 22, 2022 Update

Hey, hey party people!

I finally published another story, but first, a quick update on where I've been. I know I've been gone for a month since the Jinglemas post, but I've been busy getting ready to grab my things and move back home. I'm also starting solid work up again tomorrow after doing some freelancing here and there so please wish me some luck! I've been stressed out with moving, my finances, and my car but I think everything is starting to come together I'm so excited, a bit scared, but overall relieved. I was thankful for being able to pump out 4k words on what is my new project.

I've put into queue Interstellar, a sequel to The Princess and The Moon (which is being tagged to alert all you cool followers and to announce my passion project of the year. Either way, Interstellar is a reflection of how Luna would interact with the Sun similar to how Celestia interacts with the Moon. Instead of naming it The Princess and The Sun, I wanted a more clever spin and dedicated it to the movie Interstellar as its soundtrack helped with the creation of the sequel. One thing to note about both stories is that they reference The Crane Wives and their song The Moon Will Sing with their chapter titles Also in one of Celestia's dialogue, she references something she thought in TPaTM

Anyways as much as these focus on the aftermath of a background to Luna and Celestia's grief, this whole AU is a focus on Nightmare magic that initially corrupted Luna to begin with. This AU takes a lot of inspiration from the comics and books, and I'll be polishing the documents/character sheets I have and possibly posting some artwork I've done for the AU itself. That being said, I think I'm gonna wait until it's all a bit more refined and I'm more comfortable posting my art hahaha! I won't lie, TPaTM was something I posted in a manic haze and didn't expect so much love. It was so nice to see everyone love what I made, but I don't think the exhilaration extends to my art.
