This story is a sequel to The Princess and The Moon

Luna is a mare of routines if only to survive the guilt. Her most important routine is waking up in the afternoon and contemplating her life. It's a moment of clarity and repentance, or at least that's what Luna thinks. One fateful day leaves Celestia's duties in her hooves and overthrows such routines. Is this punishment or a chance to change?

In the aftermath of Nightmare Moon's banishment, Celestia was left with grief. She lost Luna to the Nightmare's corruption, the Castle of the Two Sisters lay in ruin, and the Everfree was scarred by the battle. Despite everything, ponies call on her to lower the moon. So, the Princess is left with the Moon and her grief.
