Cancellation of 'World War 2 in Colour'

Hello dear readers.

As you have read the title of this blog post, yes, I have canceled my fanfic.

"Why?" you may ask. Well, to understand 'why' I have to tell you the story of how I came to write this Fanfic.

I created this account on November 20th, 2020. I did this to keep track of Fanfics I read, give them likes, and be more interactive. It was only 6 months, on the 30th of April, 2021, that I uploaded my first Fanfic.

At the time, I was excited to write, as it was the first Fanfic I'd ever uploaded onto the internet. I also received support from my family, which drove me to upload the second chapter 6 days later. I then began to write the third chapter, as I saw the number of people that read the fic.

But, then, life got in the way of me. I had exams. I returned to physical school, my parents were critical of the time I spent on the computer, and of course, I got lazy. I still wanted to write, as I didn't want to leave it incomplete. I thought at the time that canceling a Fanfic was a sin (pretty much)

But after some time, I realized that I was not motivated anymore to write the story. I thought to myself and realized something important.

If you are writing a story, you should be motivated to do so. Now, I've heard tales of writers not liking their own stories, even though they were works of art, but I don't want to write a story unmotivated.

So that sums up why I am canceling this fic, but that does not mean I am no longer writing any Fanfics.

I may not post a Fanfic here for some time, as I am writing other Fanfics that do not involve MLP. But I still have some ideas for fanfics. Heck, I might even write another WW2 fanfic. I hope you support whatever I publish next.

So, dear followers/readers, I end this blog post.

If you do start writing more fanfics, do tell where we'll be able to read them if they're not on fimfiction.
