Friendship is Worth It Series Update · 10:38pm Jan 7th, 2023
Hello again, everybrony, pegasus sister, and cool creature in between! It's time I gave you all an update on my progress on the Friendship is Worth It series as well as a glimpse into what to expect in the future.
Current Story Updates:
Let's start with the big boi: Spring Surprises!
As you've no doubt noticed: it is by far the largest story of the bunch so far! It is also the first one I've written for this fandom (party cannons fire randomly)! 
I need to get some party cannon protection....
"coughs" Anyway, while I have a clear picture of how I want to handle the story's main arcs as well as its ending, I haven't quite nailed down the final chapter count yet. Its status as the current mainline story in the series does give me some leeway, but I don't want this one to be one of those tales that have hundreds of chapters to pour through (not my writing style, really).
The next chapter in Spring Surprises will be released soon (TM). To tide you over, here is a tiny glimpse at what's coming:

An explosion of smoke erupted around the fashionista, concealing her from sight for a good five seconds or more as the group of girls that stood a few feet away were glad to not have to worry about coughing up a storm. Amazingly, the well-dressed young lady did not feel the need to cough, even though she was at the epicenter of the explosion. Soon enough, the smoke started to dissipate. Once it cleared, it revealed Rarity clenching her left fist while holding a Fire Lily in her right hand. Both hands were raised up to her chest as she looked at them with a most serious expression itched upon her face. With the skill and flare of a theater girl, she declared with dramatic solemness as she turned her focus squarely on the Fire Lily;
"To give..."
She switched her focus over to her fist;
"Or not to give..."
She gazed up at the other ladies, who were confused and intrigued in equal measure;
"That is the question."

Let's switch gears over to When Life Gives You Snow...!
We are nearing the end of this fun short story (I'd say two chapters remain, if I have this right)! As I said before, the story now has a new cover image at last! I keep being floored by how artistically amazing the fandom is!

EDIT: I just found out that the artwork is a Stingers reference.
The Stingers were an 80s rock band.
There is one trio of MLP characters that has ties to 80s rock music...
"Mind is blown".
Now, for a little tease as to what's coming in the next chapter:
"Ah'm not sure if ya'll are gonna handle this part well...", she said with no small amount of nervousness in her voice. All three club members looked as nervous as she sounded. The Sirens kept their eyes fixed on Apple Bloom, wondering how she would break the bad news. Sunset Shimmer, who spoke from her Shimmer Code streaming room, which depicted a cozy bedroom from behind her thanks to her green screen, told them with that understanding voice that had always soothed them in the past;
"Trust me, CMCs. With everything we've been through, what ever you're gonna tell us is probably not gonna freak us out."
The others nodded in agreement, which gave the trio enough confidence to go into a quick club huddle before returning to their phones. Apple Bloom, with a solemn sigh, took her smartphone and aimed it right at the Sirens, who gave the folks in the video call quiet piercing glares.
Well... our leading ladies were gonna find out eventually, no? How will they react to The Dazzlings sharing the same breathing space as the CMCs and Sci-Twi? Find out when the next chapter releases!
New Story Update:
Sometime after When Life Gives You Snow... is finished, a new story will replace the ??? on the Story List.
Here is a hint of what's coming in the form of a single line of dialogue:
"At this point, I now have the tiniest inkling of how you feel, Sunset..."
Let me put it to you this way: I love the characters in MLP enough to test them and oh sweet Celestia, they will be tested!
