For those of you who like Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, here’s a sweet idea for a Stand I had today.

Namesake – Confess The Truth, after the recurring song from the Ace Attorney game franchise

Appearance – Manifests as an enormous wooden gavel the size of a person, hovering next to the user. The wood has been burned to a charcoal black, and its sides are inlaid with the faces of the people its user has struck with it, frozen in the exact expression they made just before its impact.

Ability(s) – While this stand is summoned, its ability activates whenever its user verbally askes someone a question. They have ten seconds to respond. If the person being asked answers the question truthfully, nothing happens. If they lie, their clothes immediately burst into white-hot flames. If they do not respond in time, their body becomes incased in a shell of ice. The intended target must be able to both hear and understand the question being asked for this to work. If they could not also reasonably answer the question verbally within ten seconds, for whatever reason, this ability fails. In addition, the stand can be used how one would expect a giant hammer to function, smashing down with slow and imprecise but devastating attacks at close range.
