Hi everyone,
When I finished my last novel back in 2021, one of the various bits of future content I mentioned I was working on was a full course catalogue for Celestia's Academy for Gifted Unicorns. Written like an actual college course catalogue, this is not so much a story and more a gigantic worldbuilding dump surrounding the academy featured in my trilogy.
This particular idea received a number of very interested comments from a few of my readers, who thought the way I described a set of rules and methods for magic and how it works in the novels, treating it like a field of science would be in real life, was fascinating, and they were eager for me to expand on that.
Well, I have good news for those people: The full Celestia's Academy Course Catalogue is almost done.
What to expect:
-This will be published as a chapter in the Anecdotes of Heart, so keep an eye on that so you don't miss it. I didn't want to publish it as its own story since its barely a narrative; there's only a very short frame story on the beginning and end of it, but the VAST majority of the content is the catalogue itself.
-A brief forward by the Academy's new dean, with a welcome to students and a quick rundown of how course selection works and what has changed about said selection as a result of the events of Magic of the Heart.
-The catalogue itself contains course names, instructors, pre-requisites, and full descriptions for EIGHTY-THREE unique magic courses that students can choose from during their five years of magical study.
If reading a literal course catalogue isn't your thing, no worries! Feel free to skip this one, and more anecdotes in the usual style will follow afterward. But if you're hungry for more worldbuilding, keep an eye out in the coming weeks for the release. I don't have an exact date yet, but I'm aiming for sometime this month!
