Hi All,
So, I forgot to tell you guys that my appendix was taken out (as is typical about four weeks after the original procedure and whatnot).
Why haven't I posted in a week? It's not because of that little health thing (I wasn't at the hospital that long!); rather, I have a bit of a surprise. This week I have chapters almost completely prepared to release Monday - Friday, one a day. I'm doing this because Saturday I heard the episode is being pushed to next week. If not a new episode, how about some extra reading materials, right?
For those that read fast enough to catch my updates every day this week, I'm trying to get a whole episode of mine (3 chapters) up on Saturday or Sunday alone. Consider it my early birthday present to me to you all. Something like that.
Enjoy!
Huzzah! I always love more reading. Did not know about the episode being pushed back though.

That's what I've heard... but with no huge message on EqD about it, I'm starting to wonder if my buds lied to me...
Well, supposedly the Hub is changing its Saturday lineups, and all of the major TV guide sites have the pushed-back date.. So I'm thinking it's true. Don't know why they'd do that, though.
Anyway, slow down! Not only are these fast updates going to spoil us horribly, they're going to eat away at the time we have left of the story.

As much as I'd love to slow down, I've unfortunately gotten off-schedule with the release dates, and at the usual rate I release stuff... well, it won't end when it was supposed to. In fact one of the upcoming episodes was supposed to be this week's because of holiday stuff and whatnot. If only the appendix had let me be (and I hadn't slacked in editing around then).
I'm thinking about it, really. One huge aspect of this fic was to line up with our winter timeline and holidays. That it won't anymore if I go back to three chapters a week... it's conflicting. I guess I should do what's best for the reader and not go a million miles per hour, huh?
17690 I'm just a little concerned that updating rapidly may, as I said, spoil some of us.. And the resultant pressure from update-hungry readers may or may not be conducive to thorough storytelling, not to mention the end episode drawing closer, faster. I very much like having the story unfinished; new chapters are something to which I can look forward.
That's just my harebrained theory, though; I, for one, am happy with whatever schedule you use, and I figure that plenty of others are as well.. just as long as they keep comin'
