I know many of you are waiting for the continuation of this story and I'm sorry for the wait. I been having trouble figuring out what I want to do for the next chapter.
Originally, the plan was to continue from where the last chapter left off. RD's return to Ponyville. She would meet Rarity and tell her what happened during her stay at the castle.
That's still the plan, but there is something I really need to do first and that's dealing with the training of the entire equestrian military.
Allow me to explain.
In both my and the original story. It is said that Sunset and the other princesses had both the Royal guard and Wonderbolts go through intense training under the Shadowbolts, because they are a poor excuse of a military.
Now I know what you all must be thinking. What the hell does that have to do with anything? The story is mainly about Rarity suing Sunset for abuse of power. Sunset wanting the military to actually be capable of doing the job they sign up for isn't bad at all.
And you are right about that, but I do have my reasons for wanting to talk about this scenario. Originally, I had plans to have Rarity bring the training up during the trial, but I soon thought of a better idea and that idea will be presented in the next chapter.
The next chapter will take us back before Rainbow's 7 days of fun begins. Remember after arriving at the castle. Sunset and her moms got to work on summoning all the guards together for a meeting and would be talking to them. All while Rainbow had fun going around the castle and doing stuff, while she waits for the princesses.
As I said earlier. I do have my reasons for wanting to talk about this scenario. Mainly because it is important that I bring the Wonderbolts as soon as possible, I'm going to need them again for later and I don't want to just bring them up all of the sudden out of nowhere.
Anyway, that's all I wanted to say. I'm working on the chapter now and will get it out as soon as I can. So look out for the next chapter called-
Fleetfoot puts her foot down and calls Sunset out on her BULLSHIT!!!!
take your time and thanks for the notice
I still don't get in why should I be siding with the Wonderbolts and the Guards anyhow?
Like you said, they still suck at being a Military. And Sunset is actually doing something good for once by retraining them and stuff.
Is the issue is with on how the "methods" of her retraining is intermittented?

I don't won't to spoil anything here, but there are some things that Sunset says about the military that is unfair and makes no sense to blame them for.

Well, what about that paper dragon "test"?
They didn't do shit that time!
So, Sunset was "right" about that one.

Paper dragon test!? What paper dragon test?

Haven't you read the original story like I do?
Edit: Or maybe I mistake it from another madhat886's sunset stories?
Yeah, this is actually from his "A Human in Equestria" storyline. My mistake.
But still, I DID see him do this in his other stories as well. Just to show how utterly pathetic the Wonderbolts/Pony Guards truly are.
So, that's where I got the confusion from.
She probably didn't do this in Sunset's herd. BUT, if the Wonderbolts or the Pony Guard screw something up again.
I bet that Sunset will try to test their "usefulness" and does something similar like this.

Thank goodness it was a mistake. That would have ruined my plans.

Did you read the rest?
