    New Year New Me

    I went to Vanhoover this weekend! It was a ton of fun and I'm excited to go to even more cons.

    At said convention I got a commission from Revvi who drew my oc as a mimikyu! It looks super duper cute so I'm going to make it my profile picture.

    First off, lemme tell you how Nano is going!
    As of writing this I'm at 44 thousand words which means I only have to do three thousand the next two days and I will have written a whole novel. Heck, I think I'll even finish the novel since I seem to be at a good wrapping up point. Soon my name will be in published lights!

I literally don't know what happened. I blinked and now it's the 22nd? I'm like 5k words behind? I haven't posted a blog in days?

Literally crazy.

But! Sunset's Motorcycle did get second place in the contest! This is big news for me because I have placed third in many a contests. But...always third... I swear I've won third about five times. This is my first second place win! I'm moving up the ranks! And next: the gold.

Writing tips: Don't blink I guess or it'll suddenly be like February or something

Wobbles and setbacks are a natural part of an ongoing journey, I find. Not that I'm saying it's OK necessarily, but I find it best to take a philosophical attitude towards such things and just wait for the second wind to kick in. We all make mistakes, right?
