Holy crap, I never would've expected Devil May Cry: Demons in Equestria to reach 1,000 views, but here we are! Thank you everyone for taking the time out of your day to read my story! In case you're wondering, yes, I am working on the next chapter. I've made a good amount of progress so far, but one of the biggest reasons I haven't finished it yet (outside of college) is because my primary focus has been on a new story I'm writing. The new story is a huge passion project of mine and I've been very excited about it, but I do apologize that it's been slowing down progress on Devil May Cry: Demons in Equestria. I'm planning to have the next chapter finished by sometime in December at the latest (A little ironic since that's when Winter starts, and the next chapter is about the end of Winter).
I was really surprised and overjoyed by how much attention this story had gotten, as well as how many people were enjoying it enough to keep reading. When I first started this story, I wasn't super invested in it. It had just been a fun idea that popped in my head that I wanted to try out. At the very least, I wanted to finish the events of season 1, but I was never sure how far I would go with it after that. Next thing I know, before I'd even reached halfway through season 1, about 1,000 people had been interested enough to read it and it became featured in the Devil May Cry group. Considering Devil May Cry is one of my favorite games of all time, you can imagine how happy I was.
Thanks to all the attention this story has gotten, I do want to keep writing past season 1. I still doubt I could keep this story interesting enough to last all 9 seasons, but I have jotted down plenty of ideas for seasons 2 and 3. P.S. I mentioned this in the story's description, but I still plan to get Dante and Vergil involved by season 2, so look forward to that, even if it is still very far off.
Out of curiousity, who else do you plan on involving in terms of characters?

I’m thinking about a small cameo from Nico and Kyrie at the end of the Season 1 finale. Also, if by some miracle I reach Season 4, I was planning on having Discord summon Lady and Trish for the 100th episode as a one time thing and have the chapter focus on them. I figured it would fit the episode’s theme of focusing on Background characters instead of the main characters. Other than that, I don’t plan on getting any other Devil hunters involved. As for antagonists, I’m afraid I can’t say, as it would be spoiling the surprise.
