I'm in a mild bind.
To make a long story short, I used to live in an apartment with my sister. I moved halfway across the country chasing the dream of becoming a software engineer and/or game developer, but I spent a couple years living with her in that apartment.
Recently, she finally moved out of that apartment. And the other day, she received the bill for cleaning and repair of that apartment, and--reasonably--asked me to help pay it. My half is 120 dollars.
Meanwhile, I ran into an awkward situation. See, the startup I moved to go work with is trying to reinvent...basically all of computing. They're happy to have me on the team! But right now, everything that needs to get done is just...complicated, in a way that I just don't have the knowledge base to deal with. I'm doing okay, I've got friends who are keeping me afloat while I wait for work that I'm actually good at, but right now I don't have money.
But mutual aid works wonders, or so I'm told. It's embarrassing, it's awkward, but I'm asking for help.
