This story brought a tear to my eye. I have had so many mentors struggle with my mental illness, and dealing with all the stress that my anger issues and mental health brought them. I try to think positively, and remind myself that mentors will always care for you and stand up for you when no one else will. It is hard to balance thinking positively and turning your positive hopes and dreams into real life action.

I really felt Sunset Shimmer's disappointment when Princess Celestia told her that she would not take her on her trips to Appleloosa and Manehattan. It always feels so hurtful getting left behind by those who you admire, but cannot be the same as.

I also felt her hurt and sadness so strongly when she was telling Princess Celestia that she could be as great as her. I love Sunset Shimmer so much as a character, and it sucks that she can't ever be as great as the great Princess of the Sun herself.
