October...has been a month.
My Mom went to the hospital for a kidney infection due to the local eye doctor being a hack and giving her two incorrect meds in a row, in turn paving the way for the medicine meant to counteract the negative effects on her body to cause her kidneys to go bonkers. Thankfully, she's okay and getting back to normal, thank God 🙏
But she had to stay at the hospital for just as long as I did three years ago, but this time, due to the pandemic changing the rules, no one but a really sweet super nurse was there for her at night. We have shared trauma now 
At least we all made friends with her roommate and the day nurses, who were all super cool 
This Halloween got off to a rough start in the morning, but by the time Trick or Treating came around, it was a blast! 🎃
Here's hoping that Thanksgiving will be just as cool 🤞
