Other than a few minor gripes here an there, it is a near complete 180 from the first film! Vast improvements have been made to overall scriptwriting/storyline. Worth the ticket, so if you can, as Joe Bob Briggs would say, "4 1/2 Stars, check it out!"

I'm not gonna cry gloom n' doom on this unlike many here, but it does concern me a bit. You think Hasbro would've learned not to shaft the fanbase that has been buying it's merch, but it's looking like Mane6 all over again. :-/ I mean, whatever happened to the Fair Use Clause? I guess their legal "experts" in their company has completely forgotten about it. But alas, let us not stand here and do nothing, let us do something about it! While not new for Hasbro, I am still disappointed in them nonetheless. They know North American Fans have been looking forward to the Japanese Release for months. You'd think they'd learn after the past several PR blunders (Derpygate, Mane Six, etc), but again, greed seems to trump both common courtesy and common sense. Sigh, shame on you Hasbro...again. X-/
