Hi everyone, sorry for the lack of updates. Right now I'm working my way through the rough draft of an action adventure story with Lightning Dust and Rainbow Dash. On the side I'm also writing shorter stories about Fluttershy and the Cutie Mark Crusaders. I'll keep you posted.

I downloaded a number of songs from Bandcamp and SoundCloud, I like to listen to a lot of the popular artists like the Aviators, Mandopony, Megaphoric, Alex S., The Living Tombstone, along with some lesser known artists like Socratic Brony (love "A Dance of Fire and Beauty"!).

I ran into a minor problem when I was getting ready to submit "Darklight" for publication. I did a search to see if the name was free, and I found stories named "Dark Light", "Adventures of Darklight", and "The Dark Light". I haven't read them, so I don't know what they are about except for the descriptions, but I figured the neighborly thing to do was to research alternate names.

When I was planning out "Darklight", most of it was formulated in about two days. It was the opposite of writers block, it felt like an explosion had gone off in my head. A short novel's worth of prose about pastel magical ponies was sitting there in my brain, and the only way I was ever going to get anything else productive done in my life was to take that story out of my head and give it a physical form.

Last night I was working on my second MLP-FIM fanfic. Right now it is a complete mess, an outline with show quotes from "Wonderbolt Academy" as a reference, and numerous pockets of incomplete dialog and poorly worded exposition. It's a huge steaming pile of crap, and there were times when I cringed even as I was writing it. Still, the core story is good, and once I put it through all the rounds of re-writing and editing, I think there is a good chance that people will like it.

I'm really happy right now. My story "Darklight" was just accepted by the pre-screeners for publication on FIMFiction. The whole story has been written, but it is still going through some rounds of editing. I will try to publish at least one chapter per week.

I'm also working on other stories that are in various stages of development, so expect to see more from me in the future.
