So, there hasn't been an update to the RPO in what feels like far too long, but the next chapter is in progress and currently stands at over 7,000 words. I will try to post it before my surgery Thursday, although that might or might not happen. Anyways, things are in the works, and there is a chance (Very small) that the first Nightmare Night update will be up before Halloween. Either way, I will be posting soon.

That's right, I am currently working on two chapters. Day 11 is 75% done I feel (Maybe closer to 50% once editing has been factored in), and there is a new chapter as well, the contents of which will hopefully be a bit of a surprise. Just thought I would give you a short status update.

So, on the advice of a few of my readers, I am getting ready to submit the story to Equestria Daily, but before I do that, I would like a bit of cover art, so if anyone has any suggestions or a picture that they feel represents the story, feel free to submit them. That is all.

I know I said I would be taking some time to go back and edit, but I really feel like starting work on Day 10. Hope you all don't mind too terribly.

I just thought I would let all you lovely people know that the next day of Octavia's life is actually going to have THREE whole chapters written for it. I won't go into the why of that because I don't want to spoil the surprise, but it probably won't be much longer than the average day in terms of length (Probably). My only question is should I update when each day is complete, or should I wait until all three sections are done before updating?

So, my more astute readers might have noticed that I said I would try to have my eighth update posted by Friday, and that Friday came and went without any postings on my part. Unfortunately, I bit off a bit more than I could chew with that deadline as I gave myself three days to write an update that will be at least 8,000 words, go to see the musical Book of Mormon, and help get my house ready for home renovation. For those of you hoping I would stop focusing solely on one story and would instead split my attention between two stories I have good news! I am working on another fanfic. However, while I am planning on CEE being rather lengthy, this next one should be done in a chapter or two. The new one is also going for a more lighthearted tone, so watch for it coming up in the next few days.

Note: I haven't come up with a name for the new story yet.

So here is what happened for those (three) of you keeping up with Celestia's Eternal Empire. I had midterms last week so I spent most of the week leading up to it studying and I am now spending most of my break in Alaska, where I have little time to write. There will be more coming and I hope it will continue to entertain.
