2014 has come to an end and a brand new year has risen from the ashes.

-Update each story in progress at least twice a month instead of once.

Yesterday I was too worn out by a long trip visiting a relative to post anything, but I recently finished another chapter-so I just updated Shining Dash with another chapter in progress.

Shining Dash has reached the 50,000 word mark after a year and a half and twenty-four chapters, which is a huge milestone for me not just for stories on this site, but for my writing in general.

Well, I've had a busy week.

The lower part of my gum that kept hurting had nothing to do with my wisdom teeth-which, was an easy mistake to make given how close it was to the site, but that just turned out to be nothing more than an infected tooth when it got bad enough that I had it looked at, so I was given an antibiotic and told to go in to another specialist for a root canal.

Now I'm going to be honest, I don't really like Pinkie Pie.

BEFORE you all freak out, I DIDN'T say that I hate her, but I have trouble liking her.

Let me explain-the reason I have trouble sympathizing with or enjoying her character is because I am unable to understand what her character is supposed to be and thus, have no idea who Pinkie Pie really is aside from being random.

I'm sure you guys already know that I hate Shining Dash and This Night Aria with a passion-they were ideas I originally thought would be fun to write, but the former is a story inspired by an alternate universe fic focusing on a pairing that only a handful of people care about and at this point is only being continued out of a sense of obligation to deliver what was promised for those who still actually care about the story, rather than enjoyment.
