I just uploaded the newest chapter of 'Shining Dash', though I've had it in the queue for a day or two and wasn't sure how far along I should be along with next one before posting it, but ultimately decided that it's already finished, so there's no point in delaying any longer for those who have been waiting so patiently for it.
The next chapter of This Night Aria was originally worked on when I was in a bad place and upon re-reading it, I discovered that instead of one character coming off as sympathetic and justified in their anger, became too vindictive and the chapter overall made them too mean-spirited to keep audience sympathy and the second revision too forgiving and wishy-washy, so I decided to combine the two and it feels a little more organic and it's almost complete now.
I've also been kicking around an idea for a story that focuses on pony Sunset in an Equestria where she is still Celestia's student, but I don't want to start up another big project until I finish one of the other two.
One-shots and short stories are still things I might work on in between, but I will no longer write for contests-I've gotten too many complaints on some of my other works for such reasons while trying to adhere to contest rules or trying to reach a certain goal, plus I don't want to irritate story approvers by continuing to participate in certain events that seem to earn the ire of readers and writers alike-not to mentions the stress that such events cause.
