Something was recently brought to my attention. Pony names, some ponies seem to be named after something related to their cutie mark even though they wouldn't get there cutie mark till after that. Also, there don't seem to be last names: Twilight Sparkle, Shining Armor, Night Light, Twilight Velvet. All in the same family, no family name.
