We all know the story of Twilight Sparkle and her friends, and how it all started with the Summer Sun Celebration and Nightmare Moon's return. But that's just one timeline; the version of events that we know as the Friendship Is Magic story.

But what if a different group of six ponies met on that fateful day? What if they became the heroes instead?

This is the story of A Different Mane 6.

Note: I wouldn't be surprised if this idea has been done already, but it's something that came to me and I just knew I had to write it. Also, my Mane 6 will all be OCs.
