Let me start off by saying the next chapter of Son of Man, Daughter of Pony is in the works, it's likely going to be one of the shorter chapters (I'm not even completely sure if it'll get past 1k in word count, but we'll see), though it is just meant to be a little bridging chapter between Melody's first two classes.

As I mentioned back in September, I'm planning on rewriting the prologue section of Mage's Jump, I've decided that, instead of waiting till chapter 20 (which, given my my current update schedule, will be a long ways off... on the plus side the next couple chapters are a bit less focused on the main plot, one is a flashback and the other is to start what I hope/plan to be a minor subplot) I'm going to start it now and try to work on it while not taking too much effort from current chapters for

The idea’s been bugging me pretty much since I wrote the story, but I’ve done my best to ignore it till now, but various ideas that come to mind. The idea does have some appeal to me, but I don’t want to do anything like this without checking my audience (I try not to be a complete a**hole towards people I know nothing about).

Chapter six will be posted Monday. Mostly because, while it's basically past proofreading and editing, my schedule for the weekend (read- work) prevents me from publishing it at a time I'm comfortable with. Plus there's a mildly important blog post I want/need to post at the same time and the times that are open with my schedule gives me the options of either "before 10am PST", or "after 6pm PST", one I'm still somewhat tired and the other I'm drained for the day.
