So I managed to finally finish XCOM 2 for the first time a couple of days ago, gotta say with War of the Chosen the game goes from 8/10 to 9 & a bit/10.

So with that in mind, and in the name of clearing my head of the game so I can get back to writing, I'd like to talk about the standout stuff (Good), the not-so-impressive stuff (Bad), and the things I'd like to see in the (hopefully) eventual Long War of the Chosen mod (Ugly).

Good news everyone.

I've finally, after much bashing my head against the keyboard, managed to finsh the first draft of Hot Dam - Chapter 3, alongside Beetle & Blood - Chapter 5.

Going to send the GDocs link to the pre-readers/editors after I wake up tomorrow.

In the meantime enjoy some funky bass.

So anyone who follows the same sort of games as I do will know about XCOM2: War of the Chosen, Sonic Mania, and ELEX.

The problem being all of these games are at least 2 months off, and I'm kinda needing something new to fill the void for now.

Anybody know a good Turn-Based Strategy, Grid-based RPG, that isn't XCOM, Battle Brothers, or Swarm Tactics, that could last me a couple of months?

So I have like 5 separate stories in my head at any one time. Sometimes these just sort of fade away, other times they refuse to disappear and I'm stuck with several plot lines in my brain pan taking up valuable writing space, let's go through what's there now.

1) - Hot Dam (already writing it)
2) - Beetle & Blood (not yet published, title still in the air as it just doesn't sound right)
