Guess what I found while going through my notes to check if I had messed a timeline when writing Enemy Unknown. A deleted scene. I had put this scene away because, well read it and you get the idea. It's one of those "We need Deus Ex Machina here" and I am not fan of those. This was supposed to be the opening to the battle.

You know how I have been talking now and then I should rewrite The History Of The Human War?

Well I finally did it. Rewrite has been uploaded.

I finally got over the writers block that had been plaguing me. Today, I finally got how to write down what I want and the chapter went from 2500 words to (what is now) over 3700 words, with more to come.

So, good news is, I will most likely finish the chapter by tomorrow and have it on my beta for checking soon :D

So, since BronyReynard happened to ask about this, I thought about posting some peek at the rewrite. Here is a rewritten version of Book Chapter 1 (AKA first history page). For those interested, this version is 2 753 words long, as opposed to 2 328 of the original. Most work has gone to making it easier to read and grammatical fixes. Still not perfect, but it's coming there.

Had a nice, long plan for a story, followed it up all the way to the climax, with long and detailed plans, snippets ready to be used, all that nice stuff?

And then after writing it, realized it Bad Idea. Then cut it off and went back to drawing board?

Welcome to my world. Last 4 chapters of Innocence Once Lost just went to Deleted Scenes (or what I had written so far) because I realized the idea for the ending didn't work.

So I thinking about the next project I am planning and I thought about what sort of flag would humans use? So I went on and started to work on one.

Right, so, exams are now behind me and I can write freely again.

Now, I feel like I should warn people already: next chapter is going to be... short. To be honest, there isn't much to show unless people are interest in boring stuff. I do try to add scenes to it that I feel like there should or we could visit. For example, you get to see how Big Mac and Dash are doing :)

Alright, I'm back to writing. I should have new chapter out in week or two, hopefully. I have minor writers block: I know what I want, but I can't put it on the text.
