Hey, there!
A retired FIMFiction veteran who's been there, done that, and got the tee-shirt, kid.
Oooookay, I guess I owe a bit of an explanation.
See, I am a lazy cunt. I've been busy on my new ambulance shift, and--well, that's not entirely true. I only work three days a week now, so I can't really put all the blame on being tired from working two twelve hour shifts and a sixteen hour one. I guess I am just a lazy cunt.
There comes a time in every fic when you sit back and think to yourself "Holy shit! This is coming along great! How long is— O.O I don't remember typing that many words!" Turns out, it's even crazier with collabs.
That was fun, but I feel I should have used more than two bags of ice; it was hardly cold at all compared to February's Cold Water Rescue training. Happy, Vert?
Hi, all! Just wanted to remind you that this little hiatus is not by choice. My laptop's motherboard decided it no longer wished to live with my laptop's HDD and filed for divorce—then took out a restraining order on it and demanded the disk stop spinning, or else. Naturally, this resulted in my poor HDD slamming his head off the wall repeatedly, and now he has brain damage and the doctors say he'll never remember anything ever again.
Man, relationships can be nasty.
Remember all tha crap I complained about a few weeks ago? Yeah, lets add "utterly screwed" to that list.
All the unfinished/fully fleshed out/partial ideas I had were on my laptop. Literally dozens of ideas—maybe even hundreds—just went up in smoke. That's right, on top of everything else, my HDD just up and quit on me. It's fried; the data's completely unrecoverable and I'm out my laptop.
Oh, look! I'm 19 now!
My newest fic All the Wrong Moves is nearly fully outlined. Once that's done, it should be fairly simple to write each chapter. The plan as of right now is to finish the fic and update once weekly. Hopefully, it'll give me a nice 10-12 week buffer to work with as I write it's successor.
Cody G (Blunderbolt) actually entertained the idea of writing his grimdark idea today.
I wrote words! Actual words! Not a whole heck of a lot, but I'll take what I can get out of my brain these days.
Expect my latest lesbian horse words later today.
