The Delay and Bad Times of Caughlin Mare · 6:16am Dec 13th, 2013

"So," said Pickedum. It was a tense "So" - while Pickedum was always at least a little on edge all the time, this was different.

"So," said Caughlin kindly.

"So..." Pickedum shuffled her legs. "So how are you doing today, Caughlin? Eyes going well? How're Celly and Luna?"

"Yes, my eyes are good, thank you," said Caughlin, smiling. "It's so good to be able to walk around without my head mummified. Although I am a mummy. Ha ha!"

Assorted Updates, Fic Recs · 4:46pm Nov 23rd, 2013

So, Season 4 is a thing. Since the episodes fall on Sunday, and I spend the mornings of those at church, and the latter half of those with the girlfriend, I am going to be forever slow. From the buzz I'm getting from my fellows in Seattle's Angels, though, this is going to be something I don't want to spoil for myself. Season-long arc, I hear?

Have I got news for you!

Corporate Comedy: Skateboard Soddery

This is the feature article of today's edition of FLH. I laughed. The short of it is that Woolworths, one of the major supermarkets in Australia, has raised the question on the classification of Ripsticks so as to hopefully do away with the import tax on it. I'll just give you a couple of excerpts:

Assorted Chemistry Titbits in Lieu of New Caughlin · 4:04pm Nov 19th, 2013

Aldehydes feature a carbon atom with a double bond to an oxygen atom, with the carbon atom being terminal (the end of a chain). Ketones features the same C=O bond, except this carbon atom is not terminal. This distinguishing is not present for alcohols, where the terminal C-OH is a primary, or first-degree alcohol, with non-terminals being second-degree, third-degree etc. depending on how many other carbons the functional carbon is attached to.

Chapter 12 of TLaToCM? The one that just updated?

Yeah, it's a turning point. It's a hate-it-or-love-it affair. Stick with me, I got this though I still can't find my sheaf of plot notes which I wrote down in 2011

Also, with regards to Hayate no Gotoku!! finally returning to its plot after a painful, overextended Nagi growth arc (needed more Ruka conflict, imo, and egad just needs more development after a megaton of chapters):

Five Little Headlines #2: Deluxe Edition, and Story Update! · 2:54pm Nov 11th, 2013

I do plan on doing one every time my list hits five, and try to stick to it since I need to beat discipline into my writing.

So said I in my last installment. Today, I've got 12 headlines in my little Notepad doc. There are a ton of reasons, but

is probably the main one. Yeahhhh.

Five Little Headlines #1 · 5:38am Nov 2nd, 2013

I make it a point to visit BBC and ABC's news portals at least every other day. I read quite a volume of material, but my retention rate is pretty poor. This is a new initiative I'm taking up - every time I collect five headlines I thought were particularly interesting, I'll do a blog about them, and so expand my horizons just a little bit more! Present Perfect has made a small industry out of sharing the stuff he reads; while I won't be

MSG Syndrome · 2:59pm Oct 26th, 2013

So I had a McD cheeseburger, a McChicken, a small fries, and a Sprite, after ages of not having either of these.

I feel mildly dizzy, my head is heavy, and I am disappoint with my digestive system.

Mild nightmare fuel warning.

You're welcome.

New chapter and some thoughts on drama · 12:05pm Sep 24th, 2013

People seem to do blogs for these, so hey, have this update link.

To make the rest of this informative to those of you who find the above irrelevant to your interests (though if you give it a spin that may very well change), here's Casca talking about the thing he's been binging on for the past, I dunno, two weeks: manhwa.
