Terrified of people, fond of music and horses.
Welp, for some reason, I haven't been here a lot lately, but finally settled down and read some of my favourite stories' new updates.
Feeling good~ nice to see there are still new, good, content being produced. Hmm. (Time to go story hunting, and clean up my favourites)
Maybe I'll throw up a story here, as well.
Anyway:
First use of my Fender (pawnshop) VI, woo~ now I just need to cover it in stickers and beat it up a bit.
Well, today while recording a new song I discovered that my current audio card (non asio) had a record latency issue, and that would explain why I couldn't hit any of my marks perfectly, making it all much messier than it needed to be.
Which in turn means that my newest song 'Sunshine Wedding' has this issue all over it, which could explain why I was never really happy with it.
Considering reuploading/rerecording that song, but not sure how much difference it would make.
I've upgraded to Cubase 6.5 from reaper, and that has lead to some sound issues.
I've finally been able to finish most of the wedding song, despite how simple and short it is it took a really long time.
Currently freaking out over a Silver Storm tribute song, it was going to be a long slow-core/sad-core thing, but not only was that a pain to do without my drum kit, but also vulnerable to skips in my unconfigured audio input.
