I think I finally found the story I really want to write. A serious long story of my own conception that doesnt rely on the universes others have created (company of the deceased :3).

I'm confident I will be able to stay on top of this story and publish long, well written, consistent chapters because of how much I enjoy the concept. If you're reading this check back in an hour or so for a little teaser.

For those of you aware of what that is (most people right?) I had an idea for a story where equestria has something similar but it is a 100% actual representation because MAGICS. good idea or trash? Would you guys who follow me be interested in it at all?

Want a hint, there's a little dude in my avatar, and the world isnt ready for him.

I'm rewriting TaftS, It will be better written and better paced, although the premise is still kinda cringy and whatever lol, but screw it why take writing too seriously, its supposed to be fun. I'll have the redone chapter up tomorrow at the latest and will begin on the next.

I hope this rework is more coherent and the added backstory works to flesh out the story and bring the main character some much needed personification in the intentionally vague first chapter.

My revised 1st chapter is almost done and then I will be getting to work on the second chapter. This is just a quick status update nothing more really. I am going to see Kung Fu Panda 3 today, I hope its as good as the first two.

I've begun to write an hour a day at least, even if I have to throw away whatever I have written because it wasn't inspired I will continue to write each day. Hopefully with time this will help me refine my writing skills and foster a pleasant habit of writing constantly.

I like to think that I've been learning a lot about structure and pacing over the past year or so, and I'd like to formally apologize for the nightmare that is my first posted story. Turn Away from the sun wasn't a bad concept, but it was horribly executed by yours truly. I may go back and try to rework the premise into a full story, but as of right now its not going to be touched. It will sit in my story list as a grim reminder of what it means jump in headlong without a plan.

Yes I am going to eventually rework this and make it not a horribly rushed and scribbled, 2 A.M. flight of fancy. But for now I am working on a new piece to get my juices flowing again.
