Folks, it's "Hearth's Warming Eve", not "Hearts Warming Eve".

After updating Persona EG, I just didn't really feel like writing at the moment, so I decided to fire up the GTS and go through the list of Pokemon you can't find in X/Y to see if I could trade off anything I could live without/easily replace for them.

I added six new Pokemon to my collection:

Decided to trade my three extra Flabebe and an extra...something, I forget what it was...over Wonder Trade to see what I'd end up with. The results were INCREDIBLE. I got some really good stuff out of these trades, AND some of them were evolved forms--and female--so I could breed them for Pokedex filling, then trade the offspring!

By the time I ran out of disposable Pokemon, I'd added a whole mess of new Pokemon to my arsenal:

Conkeldurr (Wonder Trade)

Another Pokemon X gameplay update!

I finally succeeded in catching a female Eevee! Now I can breed as many as I want, no more wasting Pokeballs left and right! I quickly returned to the Daycare on Route 7 to breed the last two Eevee I needed for my Evolution Rangers.

While there, I stopped by the Battle Chateau again, cleaning house on yet another set of rich idiots, before returning to route 10 for intensive training.

Wow.

Korra and Asami an official couple. Even with all the teasing since forever ago, I honestly didn't see that coming. Didn't think they'd have the guts to do that. I approve. It makes sense.

Also, the wedding of Varrick and Zhu Li was just heartwarming and awesome.

Oh, and there was some action stuff that was pretty cool too.

So at present, Eevee can evolve into eight different forms, meaning there are a total of nine Eevee forms counting the base form.

Here's some just-for-fun speculation on names and evolution methods for the remaining types Eevee cannot presently evolve into. (And seriously...sooner or later, Eeevee will probably be able to evolve into EVERYTHING...)

The bicycle road in Cyllage City. 50 laps of that will bring any Pokemon caught with a Luxury Ball up to evolution-level friendship. Probably also really good for egg steps.
