Remember that little haiku thing? · 2:10am Dec 26th, 2014
Well, tomorrow, you guys can expect something a little more substantial… about 14K more substantial.
It's a birthday present for my friend, so keep it hush hush, okay?
I sometimes write but mostly edit. I'm also a PR for The Royal Guard.

Something new is coming soon.
Guess what it is, guys.
That's why you guys are on this site, right? So have one that's pretty darn good to peruse.
I won't take any more of your time.
A few of you may have heard of a little project going up on FimFiction—the Royal Guard, a group dedicated to highlighting quality fanfic. If you’d like to find out more about us, you can check out our original blog post, but that’s not what we’re here for tonight.
So, EQD ran a Writer's Training Ground after the most recent episode (don't worry, there are no spoilers in the stories I will mention). So a friend and I decided to write some stories for the prompt, as it was a topic that interested us.
My friend wrote this story: A New High
And I wrote this one: Life in the Air
To me, it sounds pretty darn good.
That set cycle of work sure did the trick. In the past nine days, I have added a little over two-and-a-half-thousand words, completing the story.
Hello! Turns out, I’m not dead!
After a far too long — dare I say it — hiatus, Paradise Sundered is back. There will be another update tomorrow, as these two “chapters” are meant to go together, but I think that a 16K update would be obnoxious.
The epilogue chapter is in the planning stages. In it, I have a scene in mind that having at least some knowledge (up to chapter 8) of Paradise will be needed. Regardless, you should really give it a read if you haven’t.
Just letting you guys know I'm not dead or anything. As you may have gathered, I've made progress. As of my last blog, I had 4200 words of the next chapter. Now it's up to 11000. (Edit: 16000) So, yeah, progress has been made. As a relatively new author, this is an insane amount to me. I don't know if anyone reading this is an author as well, but this is still a big deal to me, as it's just over one-and-a-half times longer than any chapter I've ever written before.
