I'm the kind of fan who likes to keep an open mind whenever something new comes along.

But alas, for me, Equestria Girls was just one huge FAIL. Sure the animation and music was good, but my problem was the plot. It was just so... unoriginal! I'm seriously willing to bet money that someone at Hasbro wrote their own little fan fiction, but before he/she/it could publish it the higher ups found out and said "Hey! Let's make a my little pony movie off of this!".
