Twilight Sparkle is an alicorn now... this is not good

So... Twilight's an alicorn now.

Well then, I guess all those fan fics about Twilight turning into an alicorn finally paid off, eh? Oh, and apparently it is now canon that Celestia is a cosmic entity. A shame though that Discord didn't make a cameo.

So anyways everypony's celebrating and partying and stuff and "YAAAAAAY TWILIGHT'S AN ALICORN WHOOP THERE IT IS! WHOOP THERE IT IS!" And Twilight's sooooooooooooooooo happy about being royalty now...

Uh, yeah, sure, her reaction's going to be different in about a hundred years.

100 years later

Twilight was sobbing on her bed in her room, tears spilling out like a river. Celestia was by her side, comforting her.

"There, there, Twilight," Celestia soothingly said, "Everything will be alright."

Twilight continued crying. "MY FRIENDS ARE DEAD, MY PARENTS ARE DEAD, MY BROTHER'S DEAD, AND YOU'RE TELLING ME EVERYTHING'S GONNA BE ALRIGHT?!?!"

"Eh, you'll get used to it."

Now let's look a little further into the future.

Twilight walked up to Celestia, who was sitting on her throne.

"Celestia, can I die now?" Twilight asked.

"No." Celestia replied.

Twilight sighed. "Of course." She deadpanned.
