I'm still working on the next chapter of The Piano Man. Believe it or not, this delay is unrelated to Those Who Came Before. It's actually a case of simple writer's block - which has mostly been resolved. Anyway, I suppose I should leave you with a little 'teaser (which is kinda unnecessary in a story as slow paced as this one), so here's something:

Title says it all. My new human story, pretty much.

Okay, Piano Man readers: You may wonder why you've been tagged for this blog. I know it may be a shameless plug... but, well: I did write up Those Who Came Before with you guys in mind. I'm not going to ask you to read it, but I just thought I should say that.
Seriously. It doesn't matter. Feel free to ignore this. I just wanted to tell you all.

I feel really bad plugging my story like this.

Okay then, with my new story released, I can finally turn its future over into the hands of the masses. In other news: that also means I can get back to work on The Piano Man.

Okay then, as it happens my current story artist is no longer in a position to create the cover art for Those Who Came Before. It's normally at this point that I turn to my watchers and grovel for a little while without telling them why I'm actually doing so.

Anyway, I'm in a real bind here. I can't submit my story without a suitable cover image as I want it to present a quality face for new readers, and my searches for images are yielding little results.

I know it's been 12 days, but I've been doing... this thing. I'll tell you more about it when it's 'done.'

Title says it all: The next Piano Man chapter's already late, and it'll take a few more days. Fortunately, things are going to stop being so hectic pretty soon.

In the meantime, I think I can give y'all a little hint of that other story I've been working on. The title is 'Those Who Came Before'. Unrelated to Assassin's Creed.

You may begin speculating. I'd love to hear what impression that title gives.
