Sorry for the late reply, my weekend was pretty busy By sending letters, I'm guessing you mean sending PMs, or private messages. You can do that be going to someone's user page and clicking the "mail" button. Might be a good idea to do that and send me a message if you have more questions just so we don't clog up your comment page here And with the emotes, yeah it just shows the emote name in between two : when you're typing the message, but it'll show the emote in the actual message when it's sent.

Well if there are things that do need to be covered specifically I suppose we should start with the good communication basics like how to properly send letters. (I'm not sure if it's just that or the fact when I send emojis they just put the regular linkage maybe it comes out different on your end like this it says :fluttershy ouch: I'm not sure if that's just a prep for the emoji and it shows the real picture on your end). The site basics is a little vague, but I'll do my best. It'll be easier to answer some questions if there's something specific you're wondering though

Let's see, I suppose I'll explain a little about finding things that interest you. The easiest way to find stories is with groups. I see you've joined one already, so you probably know how joining a group works, but keep in mind that there are groups for practically everything. Looking for changeling stories? Dragon stories? Fluttercord shipfics? Adventure? Comedy? Whatever you want basically, just search the groups to see if there's one collecting stories for the thing you want. When you find a story you like, check the "also liked" stories to see if you can find something similar. And always remember to give upvotes to stories you like, just click the little thumbs up at the top of the story title card. That helps the author find new readers.

That should get you to some stories that would interest you, if you have any specific questions definitely let me know and I'll see what I can do
