...and I want to use it more. Here it is, in case you're interested in updates on speed-running video games or fanfiction.
If you haven't read my last blog post, do so now, or the following blog post won't make sense.
Tagging "Filly Fooling" because of its relevance to this discussion.
Be the topic politics, religion, or ponies, there is a lot of intolerance on the internet. All you have to do is go to a YouTube video involving one of these topics and read the comments to understand what I'm talking about. Here's a good example of intolerance on our very own website.
"Small Comforts" was originally intended to be a one-shot. At one point, I had ideas to expand it, but it was never going to go beyond a few chapters, and now I don't really see a need to add anything to it. I have some other things I'd like to work on, so I'm marking this one complete. I hope that's not too disappointing.
Thank you so much to everyone who pressed that Follow button. It's a pretty simple thing to do, but it represents your appreciation for an author's work, and it makes me happy to see each and every one of those eyes in my notifications.
So it's been a while since I did, well, anything on Fimfiction. There are personal reasons for that which I won't get into. I just thought it was high time to contribute something, and this has been on my mind for a while.
I’ve never been one to readily admit when I’m upset, but it has become clear to me, ever since starting a story for a different medium, that I despise writing MLP fanfiction right now. My “Modern Family” story just started, and I’ve written about 11,000 words in three days. If I had that kind of productivity in MLP fanfiction writing, you’d be easily seeing chapter updates on a weekly basis at least. As it stands now, I barely update monthly.
