I was doing some Googling recently and learned that the typical length of a novel falls in the range of 80,000 ~ 100,000 words. Obviously, this is a highly variable number informed by an infinitely long list of factors, but I liked the tidiness of these figures, and, more importantly, they happened to roughly align with the amount of words I’ve written and posted on this site.

I'll likely be pushing back the next story by 1 to 2 days. While it is more or less done a recent change in circumstance has made it difficult for me to find time to touch it up so thats its presentable.

The little short story thing I've been working on will be put out some time next week, probably Friday or Saturday, unlike my usual estimates which are... basically just lies at this point, I'm confident in this cause its more or less done save some touching up, so I guess look forward to that.
