Headcanons: The Dazzlings · 7:54pm Oct 11th, 2018

Hello, everyone.

It's time once again for another installment of my Equestria Girls headcanon series.

On today's episode, we'll be talking about thoughts I've had for those bewitching villains of Rainbow Rocks, the three Sirens collectively known as "The Dazzlings".

I've been sitting on these ideas for a little while now, and only recently gotten to finish them up and get them ready to post.

Movie Review: John Wick Chapter 2 · 4:11am Sep 27th, 2018

The sequel to the superb 2015 neo-noir action movie, I was initially doubtful about the idea of a movie as excellent as John Wick having a worthy sequel. To me, the original movie did so much right in establishing its story of Keanu Reeves' retired master hitman, the world of assassins that he had been a part of, and the story of his rampage of revenge on the mobsters who had wronged him.

A friend assured me that the sequel was a worthy follow-up to the original, and well worth watching.

Movie Review: Die Welle ("The Wave") · 11:06pm Sep 25th, 2018

About two weeks ago, my dad and I watched a German film about fascism in a high school.

Die Welle. Or, in English, "The Wave."

Now, before I dive fully into the story of the movie, a little background info for you all:

Some Awesome Covers of Hobbit and LOTR Songs · 3:26am Sep 21st, 2018

I discovered these guys' cover of "Far Over the Misty Mountains Cold" from The Hobbit about three or four years ago. And they have a lot of other fantastic takes on the music of Middle Earth that I felt obliged to share.

Headcanons: Crystal Prep (Plus, Bonus Entries - Cinch and Cadence) · 10:42pm Sep 15th, 2018

Hey there everyone.

Been a while since I last posted a headcanon list. I apologize for that. No real excuse other than my own laziness, and addiction to the new Spider-Man game.

But I've finally torn myself away from the world of web-slingers and supervillains long enough to compose this latest set of thoughts about the rival school to CHS... along with some bonus concepts about its former principal and dean-turned-current-principal.

Been spending a LOT of time on the new Spider-Man game... · 12:50am Sep 12th, 2018

And let me tell you guys, it's been a blast all the way through. :pinkiehappy:

Now admittedly, it's been a LONG time since I really played a Spider-Man game. I still have the two PS1 games (Spider-Man, and Enter Electro, respectively), and I played the games of the first two Tobey Maguire movies, but that's about it.

Since about the time of Spider-Man 3 (which came out in 2007 or so, and MAN that feels like a long time ago), I have not played a game focused on the ol' wall-crawler.

Movie Review: Christopher Robin · 1:17am Aug 30th, 2018

I'd been meaning to see this movie for quite a few weeks now. I'd have actually gone about two weeks ago, but unfortunately real life bit me hard and held me back from going then.

So I got to go see Christopher Robin with my dad, on Saturday of last week instead.

And the wait was well worth it.

Book Review: The Batman Murders · 10:20pm Aug 26th, 2018

I love used bookstores. Sometimes, you can find real unexpected treasures in them. There’s one in particular I like to visit with my dad, called “Mr. K’s Used Books” that has turned up a lot of nice treats in my visits.

One of these, a Batman novel from 1990, was a particular surprise discovery.
