When not working on pony fanfic, I'm editing the fifth (sixth, maybe) draft of my novel in progress, which runs under the over-long working title of Rag & Muffin: Tales of a Fourth Grade War Goddess.

My career as a fan fiction writer won't be complete until I create a decent Mary Sue, a character just like me, only handsomer and awesomer and without my flaws, annoying habits, or physical limitations, and who can shoot fireballs out of his fists, and whom every woman falls instantly in love with. Or every mare, maybe, except that's creepy.
I learn new useless things every day.
The ponies are here to teach your children to disregard table manners!
I've gotten a few requests from people who aren't happy with "Catching the Wind" being a vignette. I note that the immediate response to the story was larger and more positive than the early responses I got to my other work (even the one featured on EqD), seeing as how it had the largest number of hits of any of the stories on the front page for
I don't even know how the "popular stories" list works, and it's not exactly the feature box, but it's something. I don't think Princess Trinity or Assassinate Princess Celestia! ever made it there, though they've subsequently garnered a lot more hits and follows than they had at first. I like to build my base slowly. I guess.
I don't actually know if I can link this yet, since it hasn't gone through the mods, but I'll give it a shot.
Finally! Over 1,000 views. I at last feel validated.
Clearly, I need to stop updating at lousy times. No more Sunday evenings for me.
At long last, Assassinate Princess Celestia! has a new chapter, "Chapter 2: The Jump."
Watch in amazement as our nameless sociopathic assassin mule combines extreme sports, extreme violence, and extreme awesomeness.
Whew. That was painful for some reason, but chapter 2 of Assassinate Princess Celestia! is in the rough draft-completed stage. For my next story, I think I'll write with a buffer.
