Tartarus is silent, and the world above is suffering. Finally, a ruler faces her last, and largest regret, before she faces what is consuming her eternity, and somehow, this manages to bring her peace.

Discord thinks it's ridiculous and humorous that these ponies think they can change him, and laughs off the idea of being reformed. But Twilight makes clear the conditions of Discord's freedom: behave, or it's back to being frozen in stone.
