Happy New Year everypony! I know it's a bit late, but whatever. I'm still here and I'm actually writing again. The progress is slow as ever, but I'm still on it and that's what counts, right? I guess it's the lack of distractions that got me back. Most things I watch or follow are on a break right now. Must strike while the iron is hot. Let's just get the positive things out first. I have got some decent sleep in lately and I'm somehow managing. For some reason, I haven't heard the humming anymore, although my PC has been on all nights so it might still block some of it, should the humming still exist. I have been able to sleep even without the melatonin, but I still take one every now and then to keep the schedule right.

The things I anticipated to happen didn't happen. Nothing got forward and everything is still the same. I'm not sure how long I can keep this up. Especially when my insomnia got worse about a two weeks ago. And as if that wasn't enough, my lovely neighbors decided to make so much noise during the days that sleeping was impossible. Turning the sleeping schedule was pretty much impossible at that point so I went to my parents.

As the title suggests, I got rid of my "mane" today. It will be dearly missed, but it was getting a bit annoying in certain situations. Plus, my folks didn't like the look too much. Oh well, at least I don't have to dry my hair for ages anymore. It was a good 20cm over my shoulders. I gotta say, the breeze feels quite nice again.

If days were ranked by how hard you laughed, this day would have been the best day for months, maybe even for years.

I am currently visiting my older brother and his wife and we had an absolute blast playing this old board game. We managed to do something hilarious multiple times in a row, chances being astronomically low for something like that to happen, but it did. Oh how we laughed... We were going to play a few more games but the first one took the whole evening. Such great bonding.

I have been planning on upgrading my desktop PC for years now and I finally did it. This was the 2nd PC I have built now. I also upgraded the monitor and the keyboard. This keyboard especially is a pleasure to type with. Could it result on writing more? Who knows. I sure hope so. It's been a while since I actually wrote anything. The sequel is still in chapter 8 and I have no plans on continuing anything else right now. Maybe someday.

Today has been one of those days when the universe thinks that hey, this guy has been doing okay for a while. Why don't we show him what we think about that?

Okay... This has been bugging me for a while now. Ever since the quarantine and stuff started, I have been watching a lot of movie and series. Usually, I watch some action movies, where a revenge or wiping out a criminal organization is pretty much the whole plot and I have usually liked them... Until the end.

Today was a good day. Exceptionally good, even. I listened to some epic music, watched some of my favorite series and ate some yummy food. I feel happy for the longest time and it was all because of simple things in life.
