Indeed! A new story is out. Celestia Wants to Date Twilight Sparkle is my magnum opus! The absolute pinnacle of pony fic!

I kid, of course. But it was a fun story to write, and I look forward to getting the rest of it out to the world. Look for the next chapters coming out in the next week or so!

Well, sorta. Part Six should be out soon! I actually managed to finally (after all this time) finish writing. Waiting on edits right now, and I'll post the update when it's done!

After Canterlot's Guests is done, I'll be working on a new fic and occasionally updating What A Mare Wants. So stay tuned, dear readers!

Judging by the huge number of comments I've received on the subject, it looks like I've royally messed up with Part Five. This is going to take some work on my part, but I'm going to set this right. I should have been more considerate of Twilight's character, and given her a definitive reason for her actions. In my rush to tell my story the way I wanted, I overlooked some very critical details.

Indeed, it is! However, I still need a few ponies to look over it for me, and make sure it's up to snuff. This might take a few days, especially since I'm going to be busy with work and other Real LIfe(TM) obligations. Rest assured, though, as soon as I'm feeling comfortable with it, I'll be posting it.

So far, I've managed to get the first half of Part Five written. This means I'm coming up on the scene where it could narrated from either Twilight's or Celestia's perspectives. Based on the feedback from my previous blog post about it, I think I'm going to write the scene from both perspectives, and depending on my editors' feedback, I'll pick which one gets into the main story. However, I'm not about throw out a bunch of good material. I will publish the other scene(s) as a bonus at the end

I've been tossing around this little idea for a while, of how to write a couple of scenes for Part Five and Part Six.

Basically, instead of the perspective being either Twilight or Rarity, I would do these scenes from the perspectives of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. Now, this is mostly just for fun, and it doesn't add anything significant to the story. It would just be Rule of Cool.

Sort of. I have it to a point in the story where I'm satisfied that I've told all I want to tell with it, but now it's a matter of getting it polished. So, depending on how much feedback I get, it might take another few days before I'm ready to publish. But, I'm really happy that I got this far.

Sadly, lots of other real-life interruptions got in the way of me coming back to write. But, I have some good news! I've gotten back to writing Canterlot's Guests (again! Sorry!) and I'm feeling good about where I'm going. I think the majority of my writer's block is gone, and I'm making some progress. I'll try to get it finished as soon as I can so I get some feedback, and once it's ready, I'll finally be posting a new chapter!

I managed to sit down and write some more, and I've got some good news. Canterlot's Guests, Part Four, has hit over 1600 words. I'm not quite halfway done with the chapter, and it'll need some polishing before I publish, but it's coming along. As well, my second-person has a name and just over 800 words written so far. I might be able to get a preview chapter of "What A Mare Wants" out over the weekend if I can get some feedback on it soon.
