Regarding my previous update,
Good News: The machine is running again!
Bad News: I've unfortunately had to wipe two of my drives and have lost a bit (Approx 4000-5000 words from Chapter 18 and a fair chunk of my Story Guide) of story data, amongst other things. Lucky, I do have most of my work stored on other devices, though these backups aren't completely up to date.
Dear Princess Celestia:
Just a short note regarding A Midsummer Night's Dream for the curious:
My PC decided to blow itself up earlier this week which has put a bit of a delay on pushing out new chapters. Rest assured, once it's back in working order (Monday I hope...), chapter 18 and maybe 19 should be up and in your hands fairly quickly.
I could say that it couldn't handle the awesome I'm writing, but it's infinitely more likely it just hates me like most machines seem to.
Exactly what it says on the tin. If you hate spoilers/teasers turn back now.

Anyone care to speculate on the two on the right? I do love some good old speculation.
EDIT: Posted with wrong story notifications, sorry!
Some of you may have noticed that Midsummer Night sported some new gear in the last chapter... even though she didn't get to use any of it. Regardless, here is a picture depicting the refitted Jaeger along with a short note of changes.

Just to prove I'm not dead, here's some more art from the fabulous Zeiram0034.
Midsummer Night in all her pre-nearly-being-stomped-to-death glory
As for the next chapter, depending on how long the editing phase goes for, I'd expect it out in the next week or so.
In the meantime, feast your eyes...
This blog post is more or less me complaining about Jaeger weights/density and will hopefully illustrate just how ridiculous they are. If you don't care for that, you should skip down the bottom.
I'll start by saying Jaegers really have to lay on the carbs, so to say. It's really quite off putting when you calculate a Jaeger like Cherno Alpha is about as dense as Styrofoam.
